In order to understand the meaning of the term trifulca it is necessary that, in the first place, we proceed to know the etymological origin of it. Specifically, we can establish that it is the result of the sum of two components of that language:
-The prefix "tri-", which is synonymous with "three".
-The noun “furca”, which is equivalent to “fork”.

And that term "trifurca" was used to refer to a fork-shaped machine with three pieces that was used to boost the movement that the bellows made in the blacksmiths, allowing the professionals of those who had the fire of the furnaces at the temperature and with the vigor necessary to introduce the metals they used.

It is considered that this device generated so much noise that “trifurca” began to be used, which would later lead to a brawl, as a synonym for uproar. And hence the current meaning it has.

The most common use of the notion of brawl is linked to a Fight , a din or a confrontation It involves several individuals. For example: "The brawl broke out after the fifth goal of the visiting team, when the coach mocked the supporters", "Last night there was a brawl in the port neighborhood that ended with four people injured", "The debate ended in a brawl among the candidates for governor".

Usually the concept refers to a conflict that arises spontaneously. In a certain context, there is an event that triggers the struggle and that results in the brawl. This one can start with discussions and shouting and then include hits of different type. Occasionally, the participants of the brawl appeal to knives or to Firearms .

Suppose a group of people look a soccer game on television in a bar. When a team scores a goal, supporters of the club shout it loudly, something that irritates those who sympathize with the other team. Then, this team gets the draw and their fans shout it even louder. The situation soon gets out of control and there is a bustle that includes exchanges of blows and the breakage of several bottles and glasses.

The dictionary of the Royal Spanish Academy (RAE ), on the other hand, recognizes a different meaning of trifulca. The term can be used to name a device which has three levers at the ends, which are used to mobilize the bellows of a metallurgical furnace .

In the same way, we cannot forget that there is also what is known as "Heroes Brawl". It is a set of special games that are made of the game designed for computers called Heroes of the Storm. In these sessions, what is produced is that it breaks with all the established rules and new and interesting achievements and rewards arise.

In addition, we cannot forget that La Trifulca is the name of a musical group from Argentina, specifically from La Plata, composed of eight members and whose leader is Imanol Salinas.
